Fort Aguada is a Heritage site from the Portuguese era. This fort faces the Arabian Sea and it was basically made to provide defence against the Dutch and Marathas. At present, it stands as a landmark that divides the Sinquirim Beach and the Candolim Beach. A lot of tourists are attracted to this place as it’s peaceful it gives you an excellent view of the Arabian Sea from one corner to the other.
Vagator Beach offers you a panoramic view from its sunrises to its sunsets. This beach is mostly attracted by western bag packers as it is a little-laid back and also its famous for its rave culture hence during the tourist season there are a number of places playing trance and psychedelic music here. Every Wednesday there is a flea market held close to the beach. If you want to buy some antiques, clothes, jewellery then flea market is the best place.
Dona Paula Beach
Dona Paula Beach is particularly known as lovers paradise. This beach offers you an amazing viewpoint and the best part is you can get a view of the Mormugao port too. This beach has been showcased in many Bollywood movies and has to offer you some romance as well as some water sports activities so it’s a mix and match of both.
Old Goa is full of history. It is a home to some colonial-era monuments like Basilica of Bom Jesus with the remains of St Francis Xavier and the Church of St Cajetan. Some of the Churches and Cathedrals are still in use and have been preserved remarkably. While some of the Historical Buildings have simply become ruins or museums. Other than St Cathedral and Bom Jesus you should also visit St Augustine’s Tower and Mount Mary Church. It’s worth a visit.

On your Goa trip if you’ve not been to Baga beach than you haven’t been to Goa. Located in North Goa this place has a lot to offer. Baga beach is the best if you want to try some water sports activities. If you’re in a mood to a party than there is a lane known as Tito’s lane wherein there are nightclubs in a row. Couples can enjoy candlelight dinners as this beach as well. Baga beach, in short, has got each and everything as per your wish, no matter if it’s shopping, tattoo artists etc.
