What's the hardest part of surfing?
The hardest part of surfing by far is paddling out and not surfing in. Paddling through the waves and waiting for the next set is exhausting.
How does a surfer ride a wave?
The surfer begins paddling toward the wave to pick up speed. The surfer’s force pushing the water back will create an equal and opposite reaction to push the surfer toward the wave.
How deep do you go when surfing?
You want to find a wave that breaks in water that’s at least four feet deep and that breaks gently for a long distance.
Do you need to be a strong swimmer to surf?
You do not need to be a strong swimmer to Learn to Surf. Our first lessons are only in waist deep water. Just let our instructor know if you are not a strong swimmer.

Do you need to be fit to surf?
Nearly every move you make while out on the water requires a combination of strength and cardio. But don’t worry: you don’t need to be ultra fit to get started. In fact, you don’t have to be in perfect shape to surf or even start surfing. All it requires is energy and motivation.
Can I wear goggles?
It is advised not to wear your spectacles and we also don’t recommend wearing goggles either.
Can I surf if I am pregnant?
For safety reasons, pregnant women are not allowed to go, but please come back next year!
Can I go if I have suffered spinal, back or neck injuries in the past?
if you have suffered from these types of injuries you better refrain from surfing as they are active concerns..
Will Photos and Videos be provided?
Photos and videos will not be provided. But you can take your own.
Are there any restrictions which would prevent someone from wave surfing?
Yes there are some restrictions for surfing like:
- Persons who have limited mobility.
- Persons who have had any major surgeries or operations that could be affected by doing the activity, knee, leg, hip, shoulder, neck, or arm injuries/surgeries should avoid this activity
Persons who have or who have had any heart-related issues or seizure-related issues.r own.
Do I need a reservation for this activity?
Although walk-ins are permitted, to avoid disappointment we highly encourage making a reservation.
