My wee boy wanted a go on the Catamaran sails so I decided to take him the following day. When we signed up for the sail, he was all pumped and raring to go. Once instructions were over and sailing began the scales shifted slightly. By the end of it, I was more excited by the sail than my son.

My family was very keen on doing water-sport activities and Catamaran sailing seemed like one of the most fun ones to attempt. I’m no expert but it looked like the equipment used at Atlantis Watersports was A-grade. And that was important since my youngest daughter is only 14. It turned out to be better than any of us expected.

My wife and I had the weekend off and decided to visit Goa during the monsoon, something we’ve never done before. Admittedly, Goa is different during this time but not necessarily any worse. Activities such as the Catamaran sailing is so much fun during this season and the waters are just higher which makes it easier to float on down.

There’s an added charm to Goa in the monsoon and so one should do something to add to the charm of being there. With this I tried Catamaran sailing and I have just one word – wow! Sailing down the backwaters through that post-card like beauty. And the sprinkling rain to cool you down. Just wow, the whole thing, just wow!

Very good activity this is in Goa. First it is not so easy to balance etc. but later it is so much enjoying. Chaporariver is beautiful place and the rains make it look more pretty. I wish we could click photos of the river. But still it is really good feeling to be in backwater sailing down full bindas.

On my previous trips to Goa as well I had always referred to my pal Charlie, as did I this time. He discussed several activities but insisted I should try this out and so I did. Gliding down the serene backwaters taking in the sights and sound. Once again, Charlie my man didn’t disappoint. Great activity, great team.

After months of strenuous working and stuff I needed a break, aur Goa janabantatha. Catamaran sailing wasn’t a part of my plan but I’m glad I tried it. Great stress buster and brilliant way to see new parts of Goa. The calm backwaters make you feel like your floating through air and the overall environment is so soothing.

Atlantis Watersports has great gear and a great team as well. I was very delighted with the knowledge these guys had and the patience they showed. My boy is only 14 and was quite scared but they handled him so well. Great way to spend a day for anyone with the appetite of adventure and a heart inclined toward nature.

Absolutely nothing can prepare you for the feeling of floating down those beautiful back waters with nothing but nature surrounding you. The calmness, the picture-perfect setting the tranquillity can all get addictive tough. Like me, I went and did the Catamaran sailing thrice in two weeks. To Charlie and his Atlantis team – thanks a ton. You guys are absolutely great!

Goan monsoon. What can I say? It’s great! For those who have experienced it, you know what I’m talking about. For those who haven’t, you don’t know what you’re missing. And Catamaran sailing in Goan monsoon, even greater.
