October to May in Goa is the perfect time to Hit the beaches and try a spin in one of our professional rafts in the waves of Vagator beach, North Goa! We brings you kicks to the beach in a fun packed Sea Rafting session.– a unique Rafting experience. All this with the back drop of Goa’s chilled and celebrated beaches.

During the post monsoon season from October onwards the waves at Vagator provide the best conditions on the Goan coast to surf our rafts and get tumbled around like a washing machine. Its good, safe fun! Again each boat is accompanied by experienced guides and all the safety equipment needed.

We are pleased to offer 4 slots of rafting to satisfy the adventure junkie in you.
The first trip has a 10:00 reporting time. And if you are a late riser or prefer to do your activity later in the day then we run our last trip at 4.00 pm. By the end of which the sun will be going down. Perfect time for a post rafting sundowner! 2 trips between this are also available for those that really don’t mind anytime.


Meeting point

Arrive at our office in Anjuna at the times mentioned above. 20 minutes to half an hour later we hit the beach.

Board the appointed Minivans for the 10 minute drive to Vagator beach. Get to know your fellow Sea Rafter en-route and enjoy the drive.

A gentle stroll down onto the beach where your rafts and guides await you.

Training and Preparation:

Get hands-on and be all ears, while getting briefed by the river guides and fitting the equipment that will ensure a safe and memorable ride on the waves.

Listen carefully to the essential safety talk and then experience one of the first commercial sea rafting trips in India.


How many trips per day?
A.We offers 4 trips a day!

What are the trip timings?
First trip commences at 10:30 am, for which the arrival is expected to be 9.30 am Second trip commences at 12.30 pm, for which the arrival is expected to be 12.00 noon Third trip commences at 2.30 pm, for which the arrival time is expected to be around 2.00 pm. The fourth trip commences at 4.30 pm, for which the arrival time is expected to be around 4.00 pm.
How do I pay?
Debit/Credit Card in advance or card at office, net banking, Paytm, or cash at the site. (Note – Only pre paid payments get priority for slots)

Are there any extra fees that I may have to pay at the site?
No. You do not have to pay anything extra for the rafting trip that you have pre-booked and paid for. However, it is advisable to carry money for other add ons that you may wish to take besides Rafting, like video recording of your trip.

Should I print a receipt to show the tour guide?
We require a booking reference or receipt copy either on the mobile or printed for us to be sure you have a paid booking.

What should I bring on the Sea Rafting trip?
Slippers or shoes are not needed on the boat but to walk across the beach it may be advisable.Additionally, please carry a towel and a change of clothes for after the trip.

What type of physical ability is needed for Sea Rafting?
Moderate. Its not too strenuous but the more effort you put in the greater the fun.

What is the age limit for Sea rafting?
10 years and above. Do need to be accompanied by adult.

What should I not bring?
Kindly do not carry any valuables like jewellery, watches and so on, that you cannot afford to lose.Please also be considerate not to carry eatables or any items that may create waste.

What type of clothing should I wear?
The most recommended clothing would be Swimwear or Swimsuit, followed by an outfit like T-Shirt and Shorts or Tights. Salwar Kameez is acceptable but not ideal (Short Kurtas would be more advisable than long Kurtas).Loose or Baggy Clothing and Saris or Veils are not allowed from the safety perspective.

Can I come for Sea Rafting if I cannot swim or have a fear of water?
It is not necessary to swim for Sea Rafting. We are in relatively shallow water by the shoreline and even if you go into deep water we provide everyone with lifejackets.

Will I get wet?
Yes, you will get soaking wet! Be ready to greet some happy, bouncy waves. The whole idea is to get wet!

How fit do I need to be?
Moderate level of fitness is adequate for our trip. However, anybody weighing over 120 kg may not be permitted if they are too large for the life jacket.

Which health problems or conditions may prevent me from Rafting?
In the interest of safety, we discourage pregnant ladies, people with severe disabilities & back problems, and heart patients to come for Rafting. However, please call us to provide exact details of your condition so that we are better informed and can cautiously decide on your participation.

What facilities are at the Meeting Place?
For your convenience, Atlantis Water Sports team has carefully looked into all the essential facilities that you may want at the Meeting Place. This includes the availability of toilets, changing rooms, car park, and a reception area to brief the guests before departure.

Can I consume alcohol before Sea Rafting?
No. Alcohol consumption before the trip is strictly not allowed. You will also sign an indemnity bond before departing for the trip, to declare that you are ‘not under the influence of alcohol’. This is in the interest of the safety of all the guests.

How safe is Sea Rafting with Atlantis Water Sports?
The trips are operated by our partner who has 25 years of river rafting experience all over the world without any major accidents. So we can say, Safer than the Bus!

What if I would like to cancel my seat?
If you cancel less than 48 hours before the trip, then we will be able to process a 50% refund. However, in case you don’t show up or cancel less than 24 hours prior to the trip departure, then no refund can be availed.We also recommend that you call us to explore the possibility of rescheduling your trip instead of cancelling!

Is rafting possible if it rains?
Absolutely. That would be even more fun! However if the lifeguards have closed the beaches for swimming or there are storm warnings, which is very unlikely during the Sea Rafting season, we will be running.
