Places you will visit!

Fort Aguada

Fort Aguada is a big and magnificent citadel that defines the landscape of Goa, with a 400-year history. The fort, together with its lighthouse, is one of Goa’s most popular tourist destinations. Fort Aguada is located in Candolim, a famous tourist destination in North Goa, and it overlooks the Arabian Sea and provides mesmerising views of the surrounding area. This seventeenth-century fort is an icon of Portuguese heritage and architecture, and it deserves to be on your sightseeing agenda.

Sinquerim Fort

The Sinquerim Fort may be found 18 kilometers from Panaji. The fort overlooks Sinquerim beach and divides the beach into two sections. In the year 1612, this fort was built. The fort is part of the larger higher Aguada fort. On both sides of the lower fort, there is a bastion and a piece of defensive wall. Ships used to anchor near the fort in the 16th and 17th centuries.

The major purpose of the fort was to protect Goa from the Dutch and the Marathas. The fort acted as a point of reference for ships arriving from Europe. The Taj Holiday Village resort, which is well-known among tourists, is located on the right hand side of the fort.

Vagator Beach

Vagator Beach, a curved stretch of sand overlooked by the Chapora Fort, with a plethora of activities going on at the same time. There are a few of decent-sized bars serving food and drinks, as well as a cricket match in progress and vendors offering delicious coconut water. On one side of the beach, there is a mound, and on the other, there is a headland.

The Chapora River separates it from Morjim in north Goa. It is located at the end of the Sinquerim, Candolim, Calangute, Baga & Anjuna stretch. The beach is split into two sections: Big Vagator and Little Vagator.

You should make an effort to visit this beach during your Goa vacation, not only because it promises a wonderful experience, but also because it is “Goa’s most photographed beach.”

Snowpark, Baga

(Entry fees of Rs.500/- are not included.) – The Snow Park in Baga has designed a one-of-a-kind snow play centre that will entertain the entire family 365 days a year. The goal is to provide infinite snow pleasure to the entire family, particularly in areas where snow is a rare sight.

Sinquerim Beach

Sinquerim Beach is regarded as one of Goa’s greatest, which is no small accomplishment in a state with more than 50 beaches. Sinquerim is the first tourist beach in North Goa, located barely 13 kilometres from the capital city of Panaji. The lovely beach is located south of other well-known North Goan beaches such as Candolim, Calangute, and Baga. You can spend hours on the soft beach, swimming in the ocean, or windsurfing, scuba diving, fishing, water skiing, and parasailing.

Sinquerim Beach is an excellent area to go if you’re visiting Goa for the first time. The beach is adjacent to Aguada Beach, and you can see the famous Aguada Lighthouse.

Anjuna Beach

Anjuna, often known as the “Freak Capital of the World,” is the ideal location for lazy vacationers. Anjuna comes alive with its ever-famous full-moon parties and the Wednesday flea market to take one on a trance trip, aside from the calm waves of the Arabian Sea lapping softly on the Indian shore. Anjuna is a small settlement on the coast of the Arabian Sea in north Goa. Panaji (the ancient name for Panjim), Goa’s capital, is 18 kilometres away.

Baga Beach

Baga Beach is one of Goa’s most popular beaches, with water sports, fine dining restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. Baga Beach is located in North Goa and is surrounded by Calangute and Anjuna Beaches. Baga Beach is best known for its watersports. Watersports such as parasailing, wakeboarding, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and jet skiing are popular in Baga Beach. From the beach, one can go on dolphin spotting expeditions and island trips.

On the Baga Road, there is a Tibetan Market for shopaholics.
Baga beach is also a popular hangout for nature lovers, where they may enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
