Wave surfing refers to a person riding a wave using a board.
The hardest part of surfing by far is paddling out and not surfing in. Paddling through the waves and waiting for the next set is exhausting.
The surfer begins paddling toward the wave to pick up speed. The surfer’s force pushing the water back will create an equal and opposite reaction to push the surfer toward the wave.
You want to find a wave that breaks in water that’s at least four feet deep and that breaks gently for a long distance.
You do not need to be a strong swimmer to Learn to Surf. Our first lessons are only in waist deep water. Just let our instructor know if you are not a strong swimmer.
