Dudhsagar Waterfall
The name Dudhsagar means “Sea of Milk” in Sanskrit. It gets this name because the water looks like milk when it falls from such a great height. The falls also have many shades of white and cream due to minerals in the water which react with sunlight as it cascades down from such a high elevation.
Visitors can hike or ride a cable car up to the top of the falls to get an even better view of this magnificent natural wonder!

The falls are created by a river called Mandovi which flows through a gorge formed by two hills on either side and cascades down into a ravine which has been cut deep into sandstone rocks. The height from where it originates to where it plunges down into the ravine below is about 1,200 ft (370 m).
The water that falls from Dudhsagar Falls are rainwater that seeps through layers of sandstone rock over centuries, gathering minerals as it goes before emerging at this spot.

Dudhsagar waterfall is the 5th tallest fall in India. It is located in the Goa-Karnataka border. It’s sight is so mesmerizing. The best time to visit this fall is October to April
The waterfalls are a great place to visit through an organised trip. The rail bridge runs across the top of the waterfall that gushes down the mountainside. You can swim beneath the waterfall or sit on the rocks soaking up the sun having cold drink and listen to falls smashing down the trip was an amazing experience with friends.
Our trip was very well organised. We got pick-up from our hotel and headed for theDudhsagar Falls. Upon reaching the falls, a lovely cooling swim in the pool awaits. It is just a case of clambering over the rocks for a sunbath. The water is cool and welcomes you for a short swim. You Rock Atlantis Watersports !!!!!!!
The trip is worth each and every penny, i had an amazing fun filled experience with my friends. Jeep ride was very thrilling as we passed jungle and river in the forest. Upon reaching the waterfall I was mesmerized by the sight of mighty waterfall. We had fun time in swimming and bathing in the pool.
I have visited Goa many times but never get view of Dudhsagar Waterfall. I had heard a lot about this waterfall and always wanted to see specially after watching Dudhsgar in Chennai Express movie. Must to do with Atlantis Watersports !!!!
it was a wonderful adventure experience for me and my friends. the incredible waterfal where you atcually think milk is flowing and the spice trip was so good. its was a brilliant time at the waterfall. the best part of my this goa trip.
I liked spice plantation tour more than the jungle safari, actually jungle safari was a bit tiring experience where we had to travel and discover the jungle so I did not enjoyed much there, however the spice plantation tour on the elephant ride was a comfortable discovery for me. I loved the place !!
The view from DudhSagar view point was perfect. Lunch and Ambiance at Spice plantation was perfect after a swimming workout and a dare devil Jeep Safari Ride. “A must do” activity, I must say. Good Job AtlantiswaterSports !!!!
