A Flyboard rider stands on a board connected by a long hose to a watercraft. Water is forced under pressure to a pair of boots with jet nozzles underneath which provide thrust for the rider to fly up to in the air or to dive headlong through the water down.
You will need to wear a helmet to prevent any discomfort in case of going head down towards the water. You can be sure that you will not fall off as you will be strapped on the board and even then, wearing a life jacket. Flyboards are very light and easy to maneuver.
You don’t need to know how to swim to flyboard. Everyone will be wearing approved life jackets. Flyboarding does involve having somebody control in the water, but your instructor can teach you the needed skills at the beginning.
No. but knowing how to swim is a plus point but not necessary at all, as you will be given a briefing and accompanied during the activity under the guidance of our professional instructors.
You cannot do flyboard if you are pregnant, or have an ongoing medical or heart condition, or if you have had any recent surgeries, or have knee or ankle problems. We do not recommend the flyboard to people who are afraid of heights, or water.
