Learn the Basics of Scuba Diving At Goa.
This is a 40-minute scuba dive. We have many first time divers on our Grande Island trip and we offer both safety and adventure for you to enjoy. You will have a 45-minute training session on land where you will learn about the equipment, safety and how to Scuba Dive. You will then head out in the boat for an unforgettable 40-minute Scuba Dive experience. If you have dived before it is still a great trip to do in the beautiful waters around Grande Island. Its simply makes for the best scuba diving in Goa.

Sail Rock is around 1km away from Grande Island. The water currents are strong here, and surges are probable, making this a difficult dive. Sail Rock is ideal for more experienced divers. Itinerary
7:am to 7:45 am - Training at dive centre
Report by 7:00 a.m. to avoid missing key safety and technical instructions presented by our trained teachers. Training will take place in a swimming pool.
7:45am to 8:30am
Treat yourself to a quick snack in the on-site café (at a reasonable price), or simply sit back and relax.
8:30am to 9:00am
Be escorted to the boat jetty, where your boat excursion to Grande Island will begin. Light refreshments will be supplied on board, however you may purchase extra food at the jetty.
9:30am to 10:30am
En-route to the island, feast your eyes on Goa’s hump-back dolphins, the Aguada Jail, Asia’s first light-house, the famous Billionaire’s Palace (Diamond Merchant) and more exciting views to keep you engaged.
10:30am to 1:30pm
Our instructor-supervised dive for novices lasts around 15-20 minutes at a depth of 12 metres (max). Certified divers can dive in two places with depths ranging from 12 to 18 metres (duration depends on rate of oxygen consumption).
1:30pm to 2:30pm
While returning to the boat jetty, refuel with light snacks.
2:30pm to 3:00pm
Return to the dive centre.

Is it possible for a non-diver to go onboard a dive?
All liveaboards welcome non-divers and snorkelers. However, keep in mind that the majority of these trips are geared primarily for diving rather than snorkeling. Non-divers pay Rs. 2500/- per person, however children under the age of 5 are not permitted onboard. However, please inquire for specifics.
Am i allowed to dive with breast implants or while im on my monthly cycle?
Yes, you are permitted. It is up to you to choose whether or not you are at ease.
Can i Scuba dive while pregnant?
No, it is not.
How long do I need to sit on a flight after scuba diving?
A minimum of 8 to12 hours of rest, is required by both experts and beginners before they should board their flights.
Can I arrange for a pickup at my hotel?
Yes, though at an additional cost.
Does a diving instructor accompany everyone while diving?
Yes, this is necessary for your training and we take safety very seriously.
What is the duration of the dive?
A dive usually lasts an average of 40 minutes, sometimes a little less or more depending on the individual’s comfort level.
What will I be able to see underwater?
Depending on the dive site you will see a wide variety of fish and coral. The site we will dive is subject to change depending on the day or condition of the sea on the day of the activity (left up to the discretion of the instructors on the boat ). our most loved site is the shipwreck (Suzy’s wreck). It is a British cargo ship that sunk 70 years ago sometime around the year 1972. It is the perfect site for Discover Scuba Divers ( DSDs ).
Can I come up early if required ?
At any part of the dive if u want to come out of the water you can ask the instructor and he/she will comply immediately.
Is snorkelling included ?
Yes, we do provide snorkeling as a complimentary service to participants who have taken the scuba diving program and the person accompanying them.

Wonder full day Well spent day at the Grande Island with fun packed adventure. All the oxygen mask straps and gears were something new and interesting. We loved the diving and the outlook. WATER ADDICT, I had snorkeled a lot and seen things but this was an intense experience. When you become yourself and the only hold is the person next to you. We did scuba diving at Grande Island in Goa. The depth was decent about 15 to 20 m but the urge to go deeper was pushing me down. The deal was good and pretty much reasonable. Breathtaking Instructors were very professional and nice. We wanted to try Scuba dive at Grande Island. We had some refreshments and the visuals under the ocean were breath taking. With the snorkels you can see everything clearly. Was really surprised by what you see under the ocean. On the way back we did even collect some plastic out of the ocean. By the evening we did make the right choice with Atlantis watersports Calangute.

DIP IN FUN We tried the scuba diving with Atlantis Watersports in Calangute on our holidays in goa.It was a little bit scary but exciting as it was our first attempt. The pool sessions were great and we thought it might be the same under the sea but when the unseen depths took over us we got frightened but our instructor was close by to make sure everything is safe. I had to trust his skills and it became so fun that I felt like I was a fish and I could even spot a massive turtle which was just for my eyes.
