This is a 40-minute scuba dive. We have many first time divers on our Grande Island trip and we offer both safety and adventure for you to enjoy. You will have a 45-minute training session on land where you will learn about the equipment, safety and how to Scuba Dive. You will then head out in the boat for an unforgettable 40-minute Scuba Dive experience. If you have dived before it is still a great trip to do in the beautiful waters around Grande Island. Itinerary

  1. 7:am to 7:45 am

    Training at dive centre

    Report by 7:00 a.m. to avoid missing key safety and technical instructions presented by our trained teachers. Training will take place in a swimming pool.

  2. 7:45am to 8:30am

    Break

    Treat yourself to a quick snack in the on-site café (at a reasonable price), or simply sit back and relax.

  3. 8:30am to 9:00am

    Dive centre to boat jetty

    Be escorted to the boat jetty, where your boat excursion to Grande Island will begin. Light refreshments will be supplied on board, however you may purchase extra food at the jetty.

  4. 9:30am to 10:30am

    Boat jetty to dive site (Grande Island)

    En-route to the island, feast your eyes on Goa’s hump-back dolphins, the Aguada Jail, Asia’s first light-house, the famous Billionaire’s Palace (Diamond Merchant) and more exciting views to keep you engaged.

  5. 10:30am to 1:30pm

    Experience Diving

    Our instructor-supervised dive for novices lasts around 15-20 minutes at a depth of 12 metres (max). Certified divers can dive in two places with depths ranging from 12 to 18 metres (duration depends on rate of oxygen consumption).

  6. 1:30pm to 2:30pm

    Dive site to boat jetty (Return)

    While returning to the boat jetty, refuel with light snacks.

  7. 2:30pm to 3:00pm

    Boat jetty to dive centre

    Return to the dive centre.

Our cinematographer will film you on your underwater excursion if you wish it. You’ll get a 3-minute underwater video clip that you may retain and post on social media.
